Improving The Sounds On The Move With Bluetooth

Wires are old hat and wireless is what we are all looking for with Bluetooth  proving to be a great help in this area of technology.

With iPods and iPhones along with other mobile devices we can listen to unlimited amounts of our favourite music through headphones when jogging or cycling and through speakers when driving along in the car.

The Mechless Bluetooth car stereo is an ideal player of iPods and iPhones as well as for any USB device in the car and is the start of your whole new sound system. With one of these you might start thinking about looking through the various powerful speakers available online at the same site.

Once there with your browsing continue on to the amplifiers and try to imagine the improved sounds that might be heard in your car.

In car manufacturing through the one and a quarter centuries since it all began there have been many new innovations. The basics remain exactly the same in that a car is usually a box on four wheels with a combustion engine running on fossil fuel.

But the in-car entertainment along with navigational and other communication devices like Satnav has changed the inside of that box dramatically.

It’s going to further change in the not too distant future when driverless cars will be operated by computers leaving the ex-driver more time to concentrate on work or alternatively enjoy the finest in-car entertainment.

By the time that point is reached car audio stores will be selling a hundred further extras for travellers to enjoy.

Car manufacturers continually look for ways to improve security as a car for many is the second biggest purchase of their lives after a home. Generally security is good but when you have expensive audio and communication systems in view it’s a good idea to look at ways that you can improve that security.

There are several options available to improve security as well as safety. Now that we have LED screens in the car it’s not a bad idea to fit a rear camera to prevent any mishap behind.

The Advantages of Using Hands Free Kits in Your Car

If you're umming and ahhing about whether you buy a hands free car kit, then you’ve come to the right place. Here, we’re going to look at some of the key benefits of installing a kit in your car. By the time you reach the end of this article, we’re sure you’ll have a positive view of hands free car kits. They’re great, and here’s why: 1. It’s legal: the best thing about hands free kits is that they’re legal. There has been some debate about criminalising them, but they’ve decided to keep their legal status. If you use your mobile phone while driving, you will be prosecuted, unless you use a hands free car kit. However, we do need to warn you that if you have an accident and the police deem that your hands free kit distracted you, they might find you liable for the accident.

2. It’s safer: without a doubt, hands free kits are safer than using a mobile phone in your hand. You maintain two hands on the steering wheel at all times (things like hanging up and dialling numbers are voice activated). The distraction is similar to the distraction of having a passenger in the car, which is part and parcel of the driving experience.

3. It’s more convenient: it’s far more convenient to use a hands free kit than it is to use a mobile phone – you don’t have to look for it in your pockets, dashboard, bag, etc., as is the case with mobiles (whether you're in your car, or not). It’s also more convenient than having to pull over to take or make a call.
4. You can charge your phone: finally, most docking stations for hands free kits double as chargers for your phones, so you can charge your phone while making calls. Awesome.

How To Optimise Car Sound Quality

If you lead a hectic home life your care will be the one place to listen to your favourite music in peace.  Unfortunately, very often sound quality is lacking.  If you are a music lover it stands to reason that you want to choose from the best in car stereos that are currently around.

How can you improve sound quality without replacing your head unit?  In most new cars this component of your music system is of good quality nowadays.  What manufacturers don’t seem to have thought about is to fit adequate speakers to accompany them.

Speakers are the easiest part of your equipment to change if you want to improve sound.  The head unit is often integrated in the dashboard and changing that may spoil the overall look of the interior.

It is surprising that just by changing the speakers and perhaps fitting better amps you will transform the tone of music.  You will be able to distinguish sounds that you have never heard before in your trusted music collection.

If you have ever looked where the speakers are in your car you will find that they are housed in the doors of your car.  This is really not the best place to have them.  Doors vibrate and most of the road noise will emanate from here.

If you are intent on improving sound, you may want to think about sound proofing them in order to shut out this outside noise.  There are soundproofing materials especially for this.  You will be able to seek advice from your provider of new sound equipment.  Advice is available both online as well as in your local audio store.

As already mentioned above if you should have a separate amplifier fitted with your stereo unit, this will improve sound quality even further.

There are other things to do to improve sound.  You will be able to get a good idea if you research your options before you buy anything extra for your sound equipment.

Why You Should Have Bluetooth In Your Car

You will be able to do so much more with your in car music system if you should have a look at Bluetooth car kits.  These will be especially useful to you if you do much mileage or if you drive for a living.

You will be able to operate your mobile without taking your hands off the steering wheel and you are able to stream music files and, furthermore, it will allow you to listen to internet radio.  You will also be able to give commands by the speak trigger facility.

This system will work best if it is stereo specific as adaptors have more limited features.  Many new cars are now fitted with this system.  If yours isn’t then you may have to think about buying a new head unit.

If you are researching the possibility of installation, you need to make sure that what you are going to buy gives you all the features you need.  It is no use having Bluetooth car kits fitted if the feature you have really set your heart on is not there.

It is possible to have a system wired into your old stereo unit if you have an older car.  If your budget is tight this may be the best option for you.  It will allow you to phone hands free whilst you are driving and it will turn down your stereo when a call comes in.  As already said above, you will benefit from basic facilities this way.

If you go down this route you may have to buy a special wiring harness.

There is a word of caution about Bluetooth though.  Because this system works via radio waves it is possible for hackers to get into your system. Passwords are known to have been stolen this way.  Hackers can interact with a passing network too.

It is of the essence, therefore, to make passwords as secure as possible and new head units may have advanced security features to stop this from happening.

Sounds All Around

Listening to mono music when used to stereo is a bit like going back to black and white TV. But most people have moved further on from stereo and expect to hear surround sound with cinema effect.

The car is an ideal place to experience surround sound but most cars are not factory fitted to be able to experience this pleasure. Very expensive motors today do have some exceptional sound quality but that should not be too surprising considering how much these cars cost.

In the quarter of a million pounds and more bracket of one famous manufacturer the 2200 watt system with strategically placed speakers numbering 29 produces a quality that surely makes the end of a road journey an anti-climax.

The good news is for an exciting in car sound system to vastly improve the one in your more modestly priced saloon car will not cost too much.

Not too much for one person may be a lot for another but if you decide to upgrade the sounds in your car you should start with a budget in mind. With this figure you should look through the enormous choice of equipment from head units to speakers, amplifiers to screens and all the technical stuff that goes with it all.

The minimum most people expect these days is to be able to plug in any sort of smartphone to listen to their own choice of music. From that point the only limit to the improvements you make will be your budget.

The temptation is to turn your car into a mobile theatre with screens in the back keeping the kids amused and a touch screen in the front to guide you on your journey.

Most factory fitted head units will have an amplifier fitted inside but if you are looking to increase sound quality and volume by fitting replacement or perhaps extra speakers then you will need to look at the assorted amplifiers.

The best car sound systems are those with the perfect marriage between speakers, amps and head unit but if you are in any way uncertain just ask the experts.

No Wires Just Bluetooth

With Bluetooth car kits there are unlimited possibilities to turn your car into a rock hall or opera theatre.

Bluetooth is that wonderful technological leap into a world with fewer wires. It seems to have evolved in Denmark where the name Bluetooth comes from an important historical figure in that Country.

It was the King Harold Bluetooth that brought all the tribes together to create a unified Denmark in the tenth century.

For your entire car sound system upgrades and security products In Car Music should be your first port of call. Here is everything you need to spend weekends changing the factory fitted feeble CD player into a multi-media theatre.

Forty years ago I used to run a business scrapping big old mainframe computers. If two trucks were filled with all the obvious hardware a third truck was needed just for the miles of under floor wiring. Wires have always been a pain in the office when under floor was not possible and wireless or Bluetooth has to be one of the great technological advances of the last fifteen years.

Take a look on this site at something like the Alpine CDE-133BT MP3 Bluetooth iPod and check out the impressive list of features and also note the price of under £200. Now if you are old enough you will remember that with just a tiny fraction of that capability the first car CD players cost about five times that amount.

It is striking that for little money a great deal can be achieved with in-car entertainment. Seven inch touch screens and satellite navigation takes much of the stress out of driving and in-car entertainment for rear seated passengers can keep children amused all the way to the end of a long journey without a single comment along the lines of are we there yet?

New, modern and very expensive cars have sound systems and interface kits fitted as standard but the majority of us car drivers cannot afford to splash out £100,000 on a car. So if yours is a standard saloon or hatchback take a look at spending modestly to improve the sounds.
